One of the most highly loved types of teas is the Darjeeling tea that is grown in the city of Darjeeling in the West Bengal, India.
There are a number of varieties of the Darjeeling tea. These include first flush, second flush and third flush tea.
The first flush variety is harvested in the middle of month of March that is followed by spring and rainy season. It has a light color, mild aroma and flavor.
Then there is the second flush variety that is harvested in the month of June. It is recognized for making aromatic, yellowish-brown, and a muscatel flavored cup for a relaxing taste.
Third flush type of tea is also popularly known as the Autumnal flush. This beverage is harvested in the autumn season that comes after the rainy season. This drink has a little bit of spicy but very rich taste.
The organic variety of Darjeeling tea is a superior quality tea.  Its location and growing condition makes it different from the other beverage types like yellow label tea. It is taken care that the tea is cultivated without making use of any chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
