It is an exceptional type of tea that has a number of medicinal properties more than any other type of tea. Here is a guide that will help you in getting the green tea that is excellent in terms of quality from the market. If you are buying this drink for the first time, buy it in small quantity so that you can digest if the quality of the drink that you have bought is not up to the mark as you have not spent much. You must buy the green tea in the loose form in comparison to the tea bags. This is due to the larger size of the tea leaves in loose tea and more swelling of these leaves while brewing this tea. So if possible then you should pick up loose tea over the bagged tea. You can also search for the leading tea exporter online or in the marketplace.  The best time to buy the green tea is after the spring harvest is done in the month of May or June.

Main Points of Difference Between Loose Tea and Bagged Tea

Lately it has been seen that people love the idea of tea that is prepared instantly using the tea bags and avoid using the loose tea. No doubt the market of tea bags has evolved and grown in the recent years seeing to the preference of the people for tea bags and you can get some excellent bagged teas in the market. Even a number of reputed tea exporter India manufacture superior quality tea bags.
The key point of difference between the loose tea and the tea in the tea bags is the size of the tea leaves. That's what has a great impact on the resulting cup of tea that you have prepared. Tea leaves comprise of several chemicals and oils that are good for health as well as the reason behind the relishing flavor and aroma of the drink. When the tea leaves are fragmented, it is quite possible that those oils will evaporate, thus leaving behind a dull and flavorless tea. The standard green berry tea bags and tea bags of other types of teas contain the smallest broken pieces of the tea leaves, which are referred to as the fannings. On the other hand, loose teas have whole tea leaves or larger pieces of these leaves.
Apart from the leaf size, another differentiating aspect is the space aspect. The leaves require space to enlarge, spread out and unfurl. Excellent water circulation around the leaves plays a significant role that is not typically possible in a confined small tea bag.
So to conclude, loose tea provided by tea exporter India is a better option as compared to the green berry tea bags or any other variety of bagged tea.

Different Techniques Employed in Harvesting Of Tea

In general, there are two different ways of harvesting. These are fine plucking and course plucking. Both of these methods are executed manually for the reason that machines may harm the leaves to such a level that they may become useless.
In the method of fine plucking, only the bud, second and third leaves are harvested, which ensures maximum one can get from the harvest of tea. This kind of harvesting tea leads to tea with exceptionally fine and delicate flavor. In coarse plucking, the bud is harvested but it comprises of more than two leaves during harvesting. The resultant tea supplied by many tea suppliers in India is more strongly flavored than that of fine plucking. In the process of harvesting of tea, there are two types of harvests produced every year. There is "First Flush" that is done in early spring and the "second flush" that is done in summer.
The favorable conditions for the growth, and therefore, harvesting this beverage are normally at high elevations with sufficient amount of rainfall. The perfect climate for growing this drink also requires cooler mornings with a light fog to help protect the plants from the sun because the excessive sunlight slows down the maturity process of tea. In addition, the growth also needs a land with high acidic concentration in the soil. An ideal harvest from a tea plant is usually around twenty five hundred to three thousand tea leaves every year. This amount of tea leaves when completely processed only gives approximately half a kilogram of tea which is then supplied in loose form and tea bags packaging. Nowadays most tea is grown on plantations, with India, China and Sri Lanka being the leading tea exporters in the world.
